Mikey's Pour House Pub and Grill
About This Spot
Stepping into Mikey's Pour House Pub and Grill feels like settling into a familiar neighborhood gathering spot where the pace softens and time invites you to stay a while. Nestled in Wright City, this warmly lit bar and grill hums with easy conversation and the clinking of glasses, offering a kind of comfortable buzz without ever feeling rushed or crowded.
The atmosphere melds a casual, down-to-earth charm with the subtle liveliness of a place that knows how to host good times. Whether you're dropping in for a hearty breakfast to start your day or winding down with friends over a well-crafted martini, the vibe is approachable and genuinely welcoming. The familiar faces, both behind the bar and at the tables, create a sense of community — a crowd that drifts between lively trivia nights, the quiet satisfaction of sharing a meal, and the warmth of live local music on weekends.
Food here unfolds as part of the experience rather than a menu checklist. Expect generous plates that fit right into the honest, unpretentious spirit of the place — from crispy fried catfish that catches the eye with its golden crunch, to comforting, hands-on favorites like buffalo chicken sandwiches and wraps loaded with personality. Breakfast leans into this straightforward goodness too, inviting you to linger over fluffy waffles paired with savory, handbreaded chicken or customize your morning exactly the way you like it.
The sense of being known and at ease extends through the service and into the stories that unfold around each table. It’s a place where families find a spot for a relaxed bite, where friends stake a claim for weekly billiard games, and where the rhythm of seasons and community pulses quietly but unmistakably beneath the surface. If you’re after a local spot with spirit and a steady heartbeat, Mikey’s Pour House quietly makes its case — more than a restaurant, a neighborhood living room where good food and familiar company meet without fuss.

Love this place. Thursday nights is the best because there's Trivia. The entire house seems to participate and everyone has a good time. If you're a fan of catfish, Mikey's Pour House does a superb fried catfish. Saturday nights is live music and One More for the Road plays here monthly. Again, fun times for everyone. Finally, and this is probably why I love Mikey's as much as I do, the crowd at Mikey's is what America wishes it was. The crowd is diverse. In Missouri it takes very little effort to go to places that are all Caucasian. Here, black and white meet, eat, and drink together without friction or tension. In a post-Ferguson world, this is a testimonial of how we should all be with one another. I love it here.

Always great company, great food, fun games, and quaint with respectable hours for family and kids. It's our billiards date place!

That was the best steak I've had in a while, and on a Saturday, not much more expensive than eating at McDonald's next door. I'm going to remember this place going forward. You truckers better not start filling up the parking next door, leave a spot for me.
